Registration for Halton Hills Minor Baseball House League 2019 Recreational Programs
Message to Registrants
Hello and thank you for registering your child with the HHMBA for the upcoming 2019 season. The HHMBA strives to provide our players with an opportunity to play baseball in a safe and fun environment, while gaining skills and confidence on and off the diamond.
Space on our teams will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and there are registration maximums in each of the age categories. Families are encouraged to register their children early to avoid disappointment. Once the divisions are filled, parents will be directed to the on-line waiting list form, to place your player in sequence for the next available space in our programs.

Note About Night of Play
The HHMBA’s main purpose is to ensure that all of our players have the best playing experience on the diamond. To accommodate the number of players and teams in each age division, on available fields, it is necessary to schedule games on multiple nights to enable a complete schedule. HHMBA has tried to limit the number of nights wherever possible to simplify scheduling for families.
We have endeavoured to have Squirt and TBall teams play all of their games in EITHER Acton or Georgetown to accommodate our youngest Eagles players. All other divisions should expect some travel within Halton Hills on a week-to-week basis.
(Tentative Nights of Play pending release of town permits)
T-Ball Red (Acton) – Will play in Acton on Monday Nights
T-Ball Grey (Georgetown) – Will Play in Georgetown on Monday or Wednesday Nights
Squirt Red (Acton) – Will Play in Acton on Tuesday Nights
Squirt Grey (Georgetown) – Will Play in Georgetown on Wednesday Nights
Rookie – Will Play in both Georgetown & Acton on Tuesday or Thursday Nights
Mosquito – Will Play in both Georgetown and Acton on Thursday Nights with practices any day of the week.
Pee Wee – Will Play in both Georgetown and Acton on Monday Nights with practices any day of the week.
Bantam aged players will be a part of an interlocking loop with teams from Milton Baseball. This loop will allow our players to be involved in games against players of the same age and same skill set. The schedule will involve both home and away games, travelling to Milton. As soon as the schedule is made available, it will be forwarded to all players.
Bantam – Will play in an interlocking loop with Milton, nights – TBD
Midget aged players will be a part of an interlocking loop (BOMBA) this season, playing against teams from Milton and Burlington. This loop will allow our players to have a variety of games against players of the same age and similar skill level. The schedule will involve home games, as well as some travel to other communities for games. As soon as the schedule is made available, it will be forwarded to all players.
Midget – Will play in an interlocking BOMBA loop, with Milton and Burlington, nights – TBD.
Practices dates and times have not been determined and may take place throughout Halton Hills for all divisions, except for the TBall and Squirt divisions
Practices may take place on weekends as well
Age Group Selection
Players found registering in the wrong age group (as defined by birth year) without prior approval, will have their registration withdrawn and face the possibility of not being able to register in the appropriate age group. Please confirm age category with drop down menu information.
Regarding Special Requests
HHMBA will make every effort to grant special requests however, requests cannot be guaranteed! Registration cannot be contingent on being granted a special request. This includes Night of Play & Play with a Friend Requests
Volunteers – Coaches and Conveners needed!!
The HHMBA is an organization run by the dedication of volunteers who put in hundreds of hours in on and off of the diamond. We ask that all families and fans be respectful of our executive, coaches, players and officials.
We encourage families to become involved in the experience that they would like their player to have this season. Whether you are able to commit for an hour, a season or for a short term project, we would welcome you to our Association and appreciate your commitment to our league.
Our two most urgent needs are for coaches and conveners for your age group. Please consider helping out in one of these areas. We provide training prior to the start of the season and support during the year.
What does a convener do?
Conveners are responsible for being the primary contact for coaches at an age group to answer questions, help answer player or parent concerns, and work with the director of house league in that regard. Typically a few hours per week once the season is underway with a little extra time the week prior to the season.
