Want to umpire for the HHMBA this season?

The Level One and Level Two umpiring courses are s-l-o-w-l-y being rolled out by the OBA...

They are about 2 weeks behind where they thought they would be.  PLEASE be patient.  If you have paid your registration fee, you should hear from them by the end of the week.

For Level 3's, you need to ensure that you are doing your exam.  It is already on line.

Stay healthy.  Read on for more information.

With the COVID-19 Pandemic happening in Ontario, Baseball Ontario has changed the way that the umpiring clinics are going to be delivered this season.

Instead of group clinics, training will now be done through e-learning for the Level One and Level Two umpires.  The clinics will be ready for roll out mid-April.

To be able to participate in the clinics, umpires will need to:

  1. Register with the OBA as an umpire at https://www.baseballontario.com/Umpires/login.aspx?OrgURL=%2fUmpires%2fUmpireProfile.aspx%3fTopmenuID%3d10000
    1. Our Affiliate is Central Ontario Baseball Association
    2. Our Club Name is Halton Hills Minor Baseball Association
  2. The next thing that you have to do is choose our clinic for registration.

Once you are registered for the clinic, you will receive an email about payment for the clinic.  The fees this season are $15 for the Level One Clinic and $25 for the Level Two Clinic.  FYI, you are a Level One umpire for 2 years and a Level Two umpire for 3 years.

For our level three umpires, the exam will be on line as it has been done in the past.
