2021 House League FAQ

Q - How long do we anticipate the house league season to run for.

A- Our expectation is that we will run the house league season until September 2nd, 2021 however this is subject to change based on changing public health conditions.

Q - Will masks be required for players in 2021.

A - At this time we are following the latest Baseball Ontario guidance which states that masks will be required while players are not on the field of play. Any players that are actively playing will not require a mask. However, these guidelines are subject to change given what we are provided by the province and Baseball Ontario.

Q - What equipment will I need to supply for my player?

A - Due to Covid protocols, there will be no sharing of equipment. Players will need to purchase their own bat, glove, helmet, jock/jill and an individual bottle of hand sanitizer. The HHMBA will provide players with their uniform and hat. Closed toed shoes are mandatory, but running shoes are quite acceptable. We also require each player to have a lawn chair that is used as their "home base." Players will ensure that their chairs are where they store their equipment, water bottles, hand sanitizer, etc.
