Let's Go Eagles!!
The HHMBA is looking for umpires for the upcoming 2021 season. New and returning umpires should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Umpiring clinics will be held virtually this year and can be completed through the months of March and April.
Returning umpires looking to complete their Level 3 certification, need to register by the end of February through their OBA login.
Our House League registration is open and ready for registration. https://hhmba.sportngin.com/register/form/379640369
Registration is going to be a bit different this season, we are providing families with the projected nights of play and asking them to register for the division that their child would belong to.
At this time, we are NOT asking for any payment. As COVID-19 is still very much a part of our daily lives, at this time, we are asking families to register for the upcoming season, but not to provide any payment information. We are very confident that we are going to be able to offer a program this season, but at this time we cannot announce the start date or finish date of the season. We continue to work with the Region of Halton Health Department to determine what the 2021 House League season will look like.
Once we have further information about the program that we are going to offer and the fees that are to be associated with it, we will then ask registered families to confirm their registrations and provide payment for the upcoming year.
If you have any questions about our programs, please reach out to our Directors of House League at email@example.com (U9, U7 and U5) or firstname.lastname@example.org (U11, U13, U15 and U18). If you have any questions about the plans for the upcoming season, COVID-19 protocols or payment information, please reach out to email@example.com.
HHMBA has partnered with www.licensetosport.com to offer our families a great gifting opportunity, license plate covers, which also gives back to our baseball community. The company owners are 2 of our players' dads and they are providing $5 from each sale back to the HHMBA.
For more information, please visit their website, or reach out to them directly at Chris Robbfirstname.lastname@example.org or Andrew Murisonemail@example.com.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Unfortunately with Halton moving to "Red" on Monday November 16, 2020, we have received notification from Baseball Ontario that our in person training sessions, that take place in communities other than Halton, must be put on hold until the situation changes. This change is effective immediately.
The health and safety of our players, their families and our coaches continue to be at the top of our minds. Please stay safe.
Once again Melissa from Therrien Accounting has come to the plate, when the HHMBA needed her! Melissa has purchased the Welcome Banner for the upcoming Santa Claus parade.
Melissa is an incredible supporter of the HHMBA, not only purchasing the banner, but also filling the role of convener in the past. Melissa is also a supporter of Halton Hills, hosting many community events and being involved in the organization of the Canada Day Celebrations in Glen Williams.
Thank you again Melissa for all that you do.
The HHMBA held their Annual General Meeting on November 5, via Zoom. The minutes are attached below.
The HHMBA would like to thank Larry Fitzgerald and Peter Meth, whose terms were over on the Executive. Thank you for all that you have done to ensure that our players were able to be on the diamond to play the game that they love.
We would like to congratulate John Behara who is our new League President and welcome Scott Stubberfield and Ryan Douglas to their new roles on the Executive.
We currently are looking for two Executive members, Director of Equipment Distribution and Maintenance and Director of IT. Interested individuals should reach out to Association President at firstname.lastname@example.org.
