Hello HHMBA Families,
The HHMBA is preparing for the upcoming 2021 season. We are quite confident that we will be able to offer a house league program this year, but at this point, we are not able to confirm what the season will look like, when it will begin or end, or are we able to confirm what the cost for the season will be.
Through the 2020 season, we were able to offer a reduced travel program and we were able to determine the processes that were required to offer a safe program to our players, coaches and fans. We will take the lessons learned during the 2020 season and the guidance from the Halton Region Director of Health and Baseball Ontario to roll out our upcoming season.
All that said, we will be conducting our registration process a wee bit differently this year. Beginning in February, we will post our House League registration where families will be given the projected nights of play for each division. Families will register for their appropriate division at that time. NO MONEY WILL BE COLLECTED AT THAT TIME.
Once we have been given the direction from OBA and the Region of Halton we will then provide families with the start date and end date of the season and the amount of money owed for the season. Families will be given a deadline for payment of fees.
At this time, we are collecting the names of parents who would like to volunteer their time as a coach or convener this season. Please reach out to our Directors of House Leauge at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
Looking forward to our upcoming 2021 season. For more information, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Litzen's Sportswear has opened our Spiritwear Store for the Winter 2020-21 season. While the delivery information states that the items will be delivered to the "school," please note that the correct delivery information will be shared closer to the delivery date. For more information, please reach out to our Director of Procurement, Neale at email@example.com.
HHMBA has partnered with www.licensetosport.com to offer our families a great gifting opportunity, license plate covers, which also gives back to our baseball community. The company owners are 2 of our players' dads and they are providing $5 from each sale back to the HHMBA.
For more information, please visit their website, or reach out to them directly at Chris Robbfirstname.lastname@example.org or Andrew Murisonemail@example.com.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Unfortunately with Halton moving to "Red" on Monday November 16, 2020, we have received notification from Baseball Ontario that our in person training sessions, that take place in communities other than Halton, must be put on hold until the situation changes. This change is effective immediately.
The health and safety of our players, their families and our coaches continue to be at the top of our minds. Please stay safe.
Once again Melissa from Therrien Accounting has come to the plate, when the HHMBA needed her! Melissa has purchased the Welcome Banner for the upcoming Santa Claus parade.
Melissa is an incredible supporter of the HHMBA, not only purchasing the banner, but also filling the role of convener in the past. Melissa is also a supporter of Halton Hills, hosting many community events and being involved in the organization of the Canada Day Celebrations in Glen Williams.
Thank you again Melissa for all that you do.
The HHMBA are getting ready to welcome Santa to "Our Home," as the Lions Club parade is moving to TSP this season on November 21st. Thanks to the Fitzgerald family for loaning us your lights to get the parade route ready for Santa's visit.
